Smart Pharmacy respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, how long it is retained, and how users can request deletion of their account and personal data.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Smart Pharmacy, we may collect your name, mobile number, email address, account and authentication information, delivery addresses, profile information, order and transaction details, payment transaction references and status, business information for dealer or retailer accounts, verification documents, support messages, and technical information required for security and app functionality.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, verify email or OTP, process orders, verify payments, generate invoices, provide delivery and customer support, manage dealer or retailer verification, prevent fraud or unauthorized access, and comply with applicable legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

3. Payment Information

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Razorpay. Smart Pharmacy does not store your complete card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking password on its servers. We may retain transaction identifiers, payment status and order information needed for verification, refunds, accounting and support.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when required to operate Smart Pharmacy, such as with payment processors, hosting providers, delivery or logistics services, communication providers, or authorities where disclosure is legally required.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, including secure authentication, HTTPS, access controls, server-side payment verification and validated uploads. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide Smart Pharmacy services or satisfy legitimate business, security, legal, tax and regulatory requirements. Account profile information, saved addresses, cart and wishlist information are generally retained while your account is active. After a verified account deletion request is completed, eligible personal information is deleted or anonymized, generally within 30 days.

Certain invoices, transaction records, tax records, payment references or limited security records may be retained where required by applicable law or for legitimate purposes such as accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and regulatory compliance. Such information is limited to what is necessary for that purpose.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You may request permanent deletion of your Smart Pharmacy account and eligible associated personal data at any time. Visit https://smartpharmacy.in/delete-account for public account deletion instructions, or email support@smartpharmacy.in.

After account ownership is verified, eligible account data will be deleted or anonymized. Information that must be retained for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security or regulatory purposes may be retained only for the required period. Uninstalling the Smart Pharmacy app does not itself delete your account.

8. Your Privacy Rights

You may contact Smart Pharmacy to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

Smart Pharmacy is not intended for children who are not legally permitted to create an account or make purchases under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, legal requirements or data practices change. The updated policy will be published on this page.
